The last 12 months have been challenging. Not only in terms of how organisations have had to respond to the ongoing pandemic, but also how they manage and navigate divisive topics.

Recent research carried out by Gartner revealed that 68% of employees would consider leaving their current role to work with an organisation with a stronger stance on the social issues that matter to them most. The research highlights the crucial role HR Leaders can play in helping employees and managers navigate divisive topics and potential employee tension arising from the issues, as well as the risk to retention if organisations fail to do so.
