Every organisation experiences change at some point in its life cycle. Change through acquisition can be a challenging experience, but it also provides an opportunity to reflect on an organisation’s employee value proposition in order to instil collective enthusiasm and purpose. The key to successful change lies in how well organisations communicate, engage and prepare their people to manage change and in understanding the legal implications.

At this round table Gareth Wadley, Partner at Gateley will be exploring some of the employment law implications of acquisitions including when a share sale might inadvertently trigger TUPE.

INTOO, change management specialists, will share their thoughts on how the effective integration of staff following any acquisition requires managers who are equipped at leading their people effectively through change in order to maintain motivation, engagement and resilience. We will explore how HR is integral to this process and the practical support they can put in place to enable organisations to navigate change more effectively.

This will be an interactive discussion over a three-course lunch, allowing delegates to share challenges and ideas in an open and supportive environment.
