What Is Generation X (Gen X)?

Generation X, often called Gen X, refers to the demographic cohort born roughly between the mid-1960s and early 1980s, sandwiched between the Baby Boomers and Millennials. Generation X is characterized by a sense of independence, resilience, and adaptability, shaped by experiences such as economic instability, globalization, and changing family structures. They are often described as pragmatic, skeptical, and resourceful, having navigated societal changes and financial challenges during their formative years.
